The excitement, in my heart, is not gone. The pain that spurned us on to dream of how to be the church for one another is still very real and very piercing for me, and experimenting with how to do that together is still the most important thing in my life. The challenge we have always faced is how much to press forward versus how much to bring others in. Now, it appears that a blow has been dealt to one attempt of ours to press forward. But it is not a fatal blow, for I still believe that even in the housing situation that results for us that we can make primary and implement the values and practices we discussed. That is my plan anyway. We must continue to push forward, the best that we can, if we are to be good stewards of the visions we've been given. I, for one, and incredibly stoked to try to do that! And I am glad you are on the journey with me. And I hope and pray that others will want the same - if they don't fully now, then that they will catch the vision as they see it lived.
